What are the differences between fender stratocaster and fender telecaster?

well I have both and I more prefer the stratocaster because with it you can get any sound you want like classic rock to hard rock and even metal for the telecaster really hate when ppl say its only for country and blues well it can play it but it can also lay rock but I don't like the sound it make for rock in my opinion its good for indie rock like bloc party but with a strat you almost play any thing with the 5 way switch and the the sound you looking for....I should have got a strat first lol
