If I use black hair dye blue, it will cancel out the red tone?
Now I have light brown hair with orange color bold / Red, especially in sunlight.i hate it and I want to go black. If I had dyed black hair with a little blue. (Obviously not a lot really.) That will cancel out the red tones. / Audacious? Also: It will fade away a black light. / Dark brown with time or not.

Is there any way to wire a red and black speaker cord to my laptop?
My neighbor gave me a single stereo speaker from a stereo system.. it uses a red&black cord with the metal wiring poking out the end. Any way to hook this up to my laptop?
i dont think it will work for a lap top becuse that speaker was made for higher wattage then what your laptop puts out !
external speakers for lap tops are cheap maybe like $25
like at radio shack or even wal mart and K mart u can find em just plug em in in ext speaker jack or headphones jack !

Why is my guitar sound not very clean?
The sound of my guitar when i put on distortion and stuff doesn't sound right. I can play my own worst enemy by Lit and it doesn't sound exactly like it even though I have my amp set the way they do it. My friend can play the song and it sounds clean and not bad. Is it my guitar or what? I have a Lotus Stratocaster and my friend has an Epiphone Les Paul.
Hello! There are a couple of things to try that may help clean up your tone. First, turn down the guitar volume control slightly. You may need to compensate for the loss of highs by increasing the treble on your amplifier, but many times this will help get rid of the grit in your sound. Another trick is to lower the pickups a bit, positioning them further away from the strings. This will have the effect of reducing the pickup gain, and generally produces a more glassy tone. Studio Portraits in a Lounge
I started off with a couple of 500W cool light soft boxes and reflector but found I was limited on the camera speed and often produced perfectly focussed but blurred shots; I had thought that models would stand still, but the girls wanted to jump around.
So I progressed on to a 3ft umbrella with a SB800, SB600 and a couple of old Vivitar flashgun on remotes which all work great, usually! The flash with umbrella certainly stopped the motion but sent light everywhere and I struggled to light the background separately in such a cramped space. You can see some of the results of this on my Blog and Website
So, how to to stop sending light everywhere? I now I have a soft box attachment for the SB800 and find that I can control the direction of the light a lot better.
I liked the umbrella with teenagers who wanted to bop around. It seemed to light them pretty well no matter what angle they were at and the softbox was more useful for headshots.
I used a flash, high up behind the model to put highlights in the hair or to rim light them against a dark blackground. I have also added a pringles tube, covered in black tape, as a snoot, and foam cards to act as flags to stop the flash at the back from giving glare in the camera lens.
I found using the menu on the Nikon D300 to control the flashes was cumbersome and now use the SU800 Commander unit which sits on the hotshoe and is much quicker to use.
With all this kit I have enough to experiment with and am constantly learning. It is beginning to amaze me just how tilting a light this way or that way really affects how the photographs look. I have read a lot but doing it in practise is where I am really learning what I read means.
I am not sure what advantages studio lighting will give me but I still have so much to learn and explore with the equipment I already have. If I need more space then I will hire a local hall.
Photographing black leather goods in studio?
Any tips on how I would go about doing this? I need to photograph black leather goods things like compendiums, belts, bags, wallets.. So far I know I would use incident metering at a ratio of maybe 3:1.. ? Any suggestions are appreciated.
