Is there a way to play an acoustic instrument such as a banjo and have the notes recorded by a computer?
My uncle is looking for a way to play his banjo while the computer automatically records the notes. Is there software that can do this without the use of a piano keyboard?
Yes, we went to a music competition and a guy who played by ear had bought a computer program to record his notes. His instructor said the student had played by ear and this competition had required the sheet music so he had played the instrument and the computer had recorded it and printed out the music.

Volume problems with Vox amp?
When I play with no effects the volume cuts in and out. It almost sounds like it is on rotary speaker. The model is the Vox AD50 50 watt amp
it sounds like there's a loose wire somewhere. It might be worthwhile to open the thing up and look around.

What is the best guitar for a first time lessons student wanting to play ?
Should i get acoustic or electric? which is easier to play!!
In my experience, electric was much easier to learn on. My parents made me learn on this huge classical acoustic and it was very difficult for a thirteen year old girl to get her fingers around the neck! A good beginer's guitar is the Squier strat.A lot like its parent model, Fender, it's much cheaper. They're easy to play, the action isn't too high on the neck so you don't have to press the strings too hard.
And, most music store will offer packge deals on "starter sets" that usually feature a practice amp, gig bag, cable, and of course the guitar. Good luck learning to play- it's really easy, and you never stop getting better!

What guitar notch filter Sweepable bass adjust your sound?
My bass amp (B200 combo amp, acoustic). A notch filter and Sweepable. I am a bit confused with the use.
Roy is a filter that will remove some of the signal frequency. The fact that it is a way sweepable. You can select the frequency to zero. It is not different from using a graphic equalizer and a built-in pull down. This is useful if you have some notes that have a tendency Really boom out louder than the rest.
