What style fits my formal homecoming dress more?
My dress falls slightly above the knee and is silk and form fitting. It is a high neck embellished with jewels and stones, and has a cut out back. Should I wear my hair a little funkier and paint my nails black(going for a high fashion elegant with edge look)? Or where my hair soft and curly somehow and paint my nails red for a more traditional and classy look? My shoes are black as well.
I like the second one more. I think you should amp up the glam with soft and curly hair, but it ultimately depends on your personal style. I don't think you should paint your nails black when your whole outfit is also black.
May I make a suggestion? A super slick ponytail, totally flat ironed, with banks pinned back for a bit of volume? With any color nail polish I think that would look amazing.

1 quarter banana
1 egg white
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Mash 1 quarter banana in small bowl
In separate bowl whip one egg white briskly until very frothy. Slowly stir in 1 tablespoon cornstarch while continuing to stir until well mixed. Add the mashed banana to the egg white and cornstarch mixture until well blended. Apply a thin layer to face and neck and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse completely with warm water then cool water to close the pores. Follow with toner and moisturizer.

So I’m celebrating my 26th birthday at Blue Velvet this weekend and I’m a little concerned. I have been reading a lot of reviews on line about how the food is bad and the service is horrible. Is this true? Also were staying for drinks after and were considering getting bottle service. Is it worth it? Also how is the crowd? Does it get crowded? Is there a dance floor? I have never gone on a Saturday but have gone during the week. I have heard that on the weekend, it goes off. Never had any problems with the service but during the weekend it gets busy so service is probably not as strong. The crowd is typically pretty chill and it could get crowded because it's a small place. From what I have seen during the week, there isn't a dance floor. Maybe the clear the dining area on the weekend and make it into a dance room? I'm not sure. I don't think there is bottle service there either.
However if it sucks, there are alternatives in downtown that would not suck. Elevate is a few blocks away. It has a dance floor and it's a really cool venue. They have Takami Sushi right next to it too so you can dine and go next door to dance and drink. You can get bottle service at Elevate. You can also look into J Lounge. There is a restaurant downstairs and a dance floor upstairs and you can get bottle service there too. You can also go to the Standard or the Edison for a more loungy experience.
