Can I transform a blue image to a red image using a fluorescent transparent material?
I have a blue image or blue light beams (450nm wavelenght) from a source and i would like to reduce the color frecuency to red (650nm) with a fluorescent material. I know that the fluorescent materials have the property to absorb photons in some wavelenght and emit photons in another lower wavelength.
I'm fairly certain that the direction that the light is emitted is not connected to the direction that the light is absorbed.
Without that directional information, it would be pretty tough to form an image. So you'd have to keep the directional information in some other way.
Maybe there is a clever way around that problem. I'm just speculating here, but a bundle of fiber optics with fluorescent material embedded in it might do the trick.
There are some cool optics involved in bundles of fiber optics. In fact there is a natural mineral called ulexite that has this property.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulexite
Fused fiber optics are made with tapers for some sort of imaging purpose
http://www.us.schott.com/fiberoptics/english/products/healthcare/imagingfiberoptics/fusedcomponents/tapers.html?PHPSESSID=ab26a662b9
And I've read that there are some applications of fluorescent materials in fiber optics.
http://www.nanoptics.com/questions.htm
I don't know if anyone has combined those two ideas and I don't know if it would even work.
I would be very interested to find out.

Acoustic guitar Restringing problem?
I am restringing my Greg Bennett acoustic guitar for the first time, and I have hit a snag with it so far. The B string's peg keeps on popping out while I tune the string, regardless of how tight I put it in there. Even holding it in place doesn't work, as it pops out as soon as I let go. Am I doing something wrong? I've done the first four strings fine so far, yet this one is proving quite stubborn. Advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard...
Guitars don't have pegs - violins do.
Guitars have tuning machines and bridge pins.
I find it unlikely the pin doesn't fit the hole anymore unless you damaged it by maybe pulling up the pin before releasing the tension on the old string; or by gouging out the hole by not feeding the string in the groove. If the pin snugs up when you press it down with thumb pressure, the problem is likely either you have switched to heavier guage strings and your pin is not accomodating the new one, or more likely you are feeding too much of the ball end in. Hold the ball end just down the hole while inserting the pin; visualize the ball just starting up the pin groove. Pin pop is normal as the ball comes up from under the pin to wedge into the groove and torque the pin as tension is applied - this is why you slack and cut the old string first, then the pin comes up easily (theoretically). It pops because the ball is grabbing the bottom of the pin and pulling it straight up rather than wedging. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

If I use black hair dye blue, it will cancel out the red tone?
Now I have light brown hair with orange color bold / Red, especially in sunlight.i hate it and I want to go black. If I had dyed black hair with a little blue. (Obviously not a lot really.) That will cancel out the red tones. / Audacious? Also: It will fade away a black light. / Dark brown with time or not.
Yes to both questions ms. emo.

My Wii is updated and now my game worked or not.
Hi guys Wii is my updated while back and since then I can not play Monster Hunter, Sam. Call of Ops as a black Wii's killing me, so I need something to do. I want to play again. But every time I go to the menu and play it open and hit export tone. But what is strange is that I can still play. Stage with no problems. Who has this problem or not.
Report this to Nintendo, and said it was. Black Ops, and they will fix for free. (If severe), then it will be Constant.

It is better to play the acoustic guitar with your thumb and select electric guitar or not.
I find it hard to play acoustic guitar my (The first brand of Wal-Mart serves. XD) but easyer to get the information you want to play with my fingers. Electric guitar is easyer to choose to play with. So I should stick to playing acoustic and electric hand with my selection. Yes, I know I want to ha ha Any chances.
Hey, I was offline on the first. doesn't what you're playin me started on the biggest piece of crap in the world. (Although prob U enjoy. playin a lot, and it is easier to play with. playin Kep a better one) for the selected question, I think always better to play with. U (if you select may not want to hate it in place. Cheap, but def one of the one nicer.) you can do more with selected when received. U Lil U higher self that you are limited. cants, but if you are just getting started and trying to get the basic chords down. I wouldnt worry much about it. Fortunately, different people and only people who can not play, and, where applicable. You have to practice. Guitar all suck until they put in an hour. G'luck.
