It is better to play the acoustic guitar with your thumb and select electric guitar or not.
I find it hard to play acoustic guitar my (The first brand of Wal-Mart serves. XD) but easyer to get the information you want to play with my fingers. Electric guitar is easyer to choose to play with. So I should stick to playing acoustic and electric hand with my selection. Yes, I know I want to ha ha Any chances.
Hey, I was offline on the first. doesn't what you're playin me started on the biggest piece of crap in the world. (Although prob U enjoy. playin a lot, and it is easier to play with. playin Kep a better one) for the selected question, I think always better to play with. U (if you select may not want to hate it in place. Cheap, but def one of the one nicer.) you can do more with selected when received. U Lil U higher self that you are limited. cants, but if you are just getting started and trying to get the basic chords down. I wouldnt worry much about it. Fortunately, different people and only people who can not play, and, where applicable. You have to practice. Guitar all suck until they put in an hour. G'luck.

What are the white cylindrical parts in a ant nest?
Stepping on an ant nest shows thousands of ants and many white cylinder shaped objects the size of the ants. What are they?
The ants' cocoons. They are left behind after the ants go through metamorphosis.

How to replace the machine head on a guitar?
Hey,
I need to replace the machine head also known as the tuning machine on a guitar. I have unscrewed it from the back of the headstock however it will not come out, Is there more to it, Is there a step by step tutorial on how to?
-Thanks
It shouldn't be glued. No self respecting guitar maker should resort to gluing their tuners to the headstock. Some tuners use a special type of nut that threads into the mounting hole in the headstock, and have to be unscrewed from the front of the headstock with some sort of crescent or hex wrench. You can usually tell because there'll be a hex shaped piece of metal ringing the peg you thread the strings through.

For electric guitars, what's the difference between "distortion" and "overdrive"?
I was looking at guitarcenter.com at the effects pedals, and there are a lot of "distortion" and "overdrive" pedals. Is there a difference between the two? I think of "distortion" as the crunchy sound in most modern rock, like Green Day. As for "overdrive", I had this cheapy little Squier practice amp that had an "OD" (overdrive) button on it that gave it a dirtorted sound (as horrible as it was). On the Guitar Center website, the two pedals are the same price, like the BOSS DS-1 Distortion and the BOSS Super Overdrive SD-1 (both about $40). But then they have a BOSS OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion pedal for about $70. Are they one in the same?
Tecnically, overdrive is the cause - the input is too loud - and distortion is the effect, the "fuzzy" sound resulting from the amplitude clipping. As for effects, overdrive is a relatively mild distortion, whereas pedals called "distortion" and "metal" and such produce heavily distorted sound. Do not underestimate overdrives, though, Boss Super Overdrive or so (can recall the name exactly, one of the yellow models) is one of the warmest, best overdrives I can think of, and I've played some nasty metal with it, the thing can handle anything. So, it's just a matter of degree of distortion - and you can't go wrong with Boss.
