Learn Guitar - Lessons From the Pros
I'm sure you have spent many hours or days wishing you could learn guitar and play just like some of your hero's. I started playing guitar when I was about 12 years old my dad played guitar and I would watch him play and I remember how I wished I could play like that. I would listen to my records and songs on the radio and be amazed at some of the great guitar players out there like Hendrix or SRV.
I thought to myself that this must be impossible, how could I learn guitar like these guys. So I asked my dad to get me started with some lessons and I then spent many years teaching myself to play guitar. This is one way to learn to play the guitar, it worked for me as I have been playing in a band for many years and have my own home recording studio and I just released a new CD of our own music, but it took many years to get to this point as I had to teach myself to play.
I can remember getting guitar lesson books from the music store and sitting down with them for day's trying to figure them out but they didn't teach me much, just a few chords at best. Man I wish the internet was around then so I could see videos and see pro players play their guitars I would have been playing in a band years before I was able to by teaching myself. Thanks to the Internet and the excellent pro teachers you can learn guitar and get the lessons from the pros.

difference between 3/4 and full size classical guitar?
I have a old fender "gemeni I" classical from the 80's, the neck seems pretty short to me, how do i tell if its a full size guitar or not?

Measure. A full size guitar will be around 40 inches long (total), so if it's closer to 30 then it's 3/4.

Alter Bridge is an American rock band based in Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2004 by then-former members of Creed, Mark Tremonti (lead guitar, vocals), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums), with Myles Kennedy (lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar), formerly of The Mayfield Four.
Kennedy, Tremonti, Phillips and Marshall started a new band and soon after juggling a few names, settled on the moniker Alter Bridge, which was named after a bridge in Detroit near Tremonti's home on Alter Road. The bridge led to a bad side of town and the neighborhood children were not allowed to cross because of this. Thus, according to Tremonti, the name of the band symbolizes going over into the unknown and starting something new.
Alter Bridge released their debut album, One Day Remains, in August 2004, followed by their second album, Blackbird, in October 2007. Both of those were highly successful. In January 2010, the band announced that 17 songs for a third album have been finished and that the band is writing even more material.[3] The album's recording process, accompanied by producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Ratt, Limp Bizkit), began on February 15, 2010.
The band was formed in 2004 by Mark Tremonti and Scott Phillips, both members of Creed, which had gone through a breakup due to issues with singer Scott Stapp. They reunited with former bassist Brian Marshall, who had left Creed much earlier, and called up guitarist/vocalist Myles Kennedy, formerly of The Mayfield Four, a rock band that Creed had toured with earlier in the band's career before they made it big.
Alter Bridge released their debut album, One Day Remains, on August 10, 2004 along with their first single "Open Your Eyes", which was followed by "Find The Real" and "Broken Wings". "Find The Real" was used as theme music to the WWE 2005 Royal Rumble. The song "Metalingus" has been used since late 2004 as the theme song for WWE superstar Edge.
The album, which was certified Gold by the RIAA, was released by Wind-Up Records. After the release the band soon split from the label, and after numurous discussions with different record companies, they settled in with Universal Republic for the sophomore release. It is said that Wind-Up, which was also Creed's and Scott Stapp's record labels, was pressing for a Creed reunion, which was the main reason Alter Bridge decided to buy out their contract with the label.
The band also performed live at the 2005 MLB Home Run Derby. They also recorded an instrumental track for Total Guitar magazine called "Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad." The song was to be a Mark Tremonti song originally but the rest of Alter Bridge soon got involved.

An acoustical neuroma, too called a vestibular schwannoma, is a harmless primary intracranial tumor of the myelin-forming cells of the vestibulocochlear heart. The tumor normally grows slowly. As it grows, it presses against the hearing and equilibrium nerves. People with a genetic disease called neurofibromatosis have a high danger of developing acoustical neuromas and can produce tumours on both sides of the chief. Xbox 360 repaired, why does online status show "out of warranty"?
My console is still under the one year full coverage warranty. I sent it in for repairs last week. The status shows that my console is done being repaired, but the warranty status shows "out of warranty" now. Does anyone know why? Was my repair rejected or something?
The above answerer in incorrect, you can still play Xbox Live without a warranty on your Xbox like I have been doing for the past few years. My warranty ran out about a year ago and I had a friend fix up my old RROD Xbox and change my Halo 3 Special Edition skin from that one to the new arcade one and it still works just fine and I still play Xbox Live almost daily. 
Back on topic, I'd call in the place you sent it to and ask. Maybe they forgot or maybe they don't renew the warranties over there.

What Is Goal Setting Exactly?
If you are new to the world of personal development and goal setting, then you may be wondering what it is and how to go about goal setting. In this article, you will learn what is goal setting and how you may just be doing goal setting already.
When you awake in the morning to go to work in time, this is goal setting. The process of setting your alarm to get up, washing your clothes the night before, and preparing for work are all part of goal setting.
In the dictionary the term goal means the end of the race or the object of effort. These points are important. Another word we have is set. To set means to put or place in specified position or condition; cause to sit; fix, point, put up; make ready; become firm or fixed, establish; prescribe, allot; arrange while wet, so that it dries in position.
That last point is an important one. If we consider sand and cement, we add water, and it sets, it becomes concrete. This is the essence of what is goal setting. You have an objective, and with the right ingredients, you make a product, your goal.
A goal can be thought of as an end step. What do you want exactly? Answering this question gives you the understanding of what the goal you want to set is. Another term we can call this other than the end step is the outcome. So if you think of a concert. Now the travel is not the end goal, but being in the concert, listening to the band is the end step, the outcome. Literally, you walked steps, and the end step was the concert.
Understanding what is goal setting is pretty much easy. You have a goal. But, what about the setting part of things? To really understand what is goal setting, we must look at the set part.
For many people goals are a part of life. Though there is a big distinction. For example someone wanting to get to work in time, may be doing a form of goal setting, but this type of goal is not what we are thinking about when we say what is goal setting.
So, what is goal setting exactly? There is a big difference, and that difference is either doing it consciously or unconsciously. When you consciously goal set, you are setting goals that you have decided upon. You say you want this, that or other.
This is important as it means you are choosing the direction. Only a small portion of the population does this. Current conscious goal setting is done by only 4-7% of people. And the success rate is approximately 50%. For example out of 100 people 4-7 of them will set a goal, to achieve something, to be something, to get something. Out of that 4-7 people only 2-3 will achieve.
It may seem slim chances. But consider that you have a 50% of a chance of achieving some goal you set, compared to the 96-93% who never set goals. It is the only thing that will give you the greatest leverage to move forward and that is to be consciously deciding on what you want.
The figures don't stop there however. Only 1% of those 100 people will achieve a financial goal, such as becoming a multimillionaire, and truly prosperous. You may say why goal set. The answer is in what is goal setting. Setting goals is the only way to increase your chances of living the life of your dreams.
should i get a acrylic full set after all my nails broke ,or should i wait?
i had a full set for the last 5 moth and only used to fill in every 2-3 week.This time all my nails broke ,some of them with my help,so now my real nail is really short and thin.i did put some nail polish on to protect them .
should i go today and get a new full set or should i wait a few weeks so my nail regenerates?
give yourself some time.
in the meantime, get some ridge filler to apply to your nails before putting on polish. I found that it works well.
I removed my acrylic nails about a month ago, after doing without a fill for about a month (this made the lower part of my nail pretty healthy, since it wasn't scarred from being ground down to apply the acrylics).
Best thing I've found to do is use a nail file to smooth the top of the nail (go from cuticule to nail tip, one direction only), buff with a chamois buffing tool (Revlon makes them), then apply one or two coats of ridge filler (let your nails dry well between coats).
I top the ridge filler with a coat or two of clear polish, then a couple of coats of color, and finally, another coat or two of clear.
I know that sounds like a lot of coats on your nails, but your nails are thin and weakened where they have had the acrylics attached, so the extra coats of polish and so forth help build some strength into the nail.
You can also add a bit of clear polish under the nail tip for added strength as your nails grow out.
