Which guitar should I choose between Taylor and Martin?
I've been playing the guitar for about a year (self taught myself through online guitar tutorials). I'm about to take a guitar class next month. I'm going to be carrying the guitar up the bus and down the subway everyday. So two guitars were recommended for me but I can't decide! I want something that can survive the hectic public transportation I will go through. Which guitar do you recommend? Thanks and Merry Christmas!!

I vote the Martin... if you get the Taylor you linked, you'll look too big for the gutair (unless you're about 10), as it's only 3/4 the size of a normal gutair... which is only good if you want to look like a clown! Seriously though... the sound won't be very strong on a baby gutair.
Although the Martin is small, it doesn't look like it would be too small - just travelly and portable. Martins are supposed to last really well, too.

I'm thinking about the black with blue. I'm getting black boots, so the brown would look cheezy! 
But, other than that, which color would*you* buy?
Also, if you know of any other half chaps that arnt over like $50.00, that you use, tell me about them or give me the name, and if you wanna be extra fabulous, you could give me a link!

i have the black and blue ones and i have black boots, they look really really good!!! there should be a sizing chart on the page somewhere. i got mediums because i have calf muscles that are big.

putting my laptop thru our band PA.......?
putting my laptop thru our band PA with disco music when we have a break i seem to be getting a hum going thru pa speakers as well as the music,...but when i pull the power off from laptop it stops,....i wonder if there is on the market a hum canceling electrical device to stop any such noises,.....any ideas would be gratefull. thanks jon
Plug a 2 prong ground lift adaptor in between your power supply and power source. You can buy one at any hardware store.

HOw do you convert an electric fender Right handed GUITAR into a left handed one?

Next biggest change would be to get the "nut" replaced. It is that last ivory piece at the top of the fret board that keeps the strings aligned and in place. The grooves cut into it fit the strings exactly, so when you swap the strings out, the fatter, wire wound strings wont fit into the narrower slots.
Damage a lot of good strings if you don't.
