What Wah-wah pedal should I get?
I've been using a classic dunlop crybaby but I don't like it. It creates to much noise and is squaky. I'm wondering what other pedal I should get. Is their a better dunlop wah or are vox wah's good? I wanna sound like John Frusciante and Jimi Hendrix.

Buy a Real McCoy (a.k.a. RMC) by Geoffrey Teese Wah. If you really like that "holy grail" classic wah tone, I suggest the RMC-4 better known as the "Picture Wah" based on the original Vox Clyde McCoy that as made in Italy during the 60's. It's a bit Pricey though ($200) for a wah without any trim pots but it's worth it. It has true bypass and well, it's just amazing I guess. You can also check out other models of RMC (which are pricier. I would also recommend the Budda Bud-Wah. It also is a great wah pedal.
When it comes to a squeaky wah, all pot-based wah's (what I mean is wah's utilizing potentiometers for the rocker sweep) will become creaky in the end. The solution for this is by replacing the potentiometer. You can ask the dealer/manufacturer for this.
If you don't want to think about replacing the pot's then I suggest you buy an optical wah like Morley, but the sound they produce are kind of subjective. Some love 'em while others don't.

Deep Purple Fireball Rock Music CD Review
Fireball is the latest Rock CD put out by the very group Deep Purple and they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Deep Purple fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one.
Fireball opens with an outstanding track, Fireball, that I suspect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It’s a really nice track.
Fireball is a nicely varied, mix of 16 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly gifted musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.
Overall Fireball is outstanding from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Rock fan. Really spectacular from beginning to end.
While this entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 4 - Anyone’s Daughter, track 8 - Strange Kind Of Woman, and track 16 - No One Came
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Fireball. Outstanding!

Who was the best guitar player:Jimi Hendrix or Justin Timberlake?
I don't know anything about either of them yet, but I have been told both are great guitar players.I will study the best one for my music theory exam starting next week.
Jimi Was amazing in his day...but if he was still alive today he would be nothing compared to Justin Timberlake.
Justin is the guitar god. Even Chuck Norris is scared of Justin Timberlake armed with a guitar.

Real Guitar Hero Software
Deep rooted in the south, the blues has been a way of self expression for many people. There have been many artists that have been involved in the blues, but most of the famous ones played guitar.Real Guitar Hero Software To play blues on the guitar and have a good understanding you really need to listen to the guitarists that paved the way. I'm going to list a few artists that are on every top blues guitarists list of favorites.
Robert Johnson - If you don't know who Robert Johnson is then you need to go and buy his album. He is widely known as the grandfather of rock and role and is considered by some, including Eric Clapton, as the most important blues musician who ever lived. All his songs can be found on one double album, he died shortly after recording them so there really isn't a lot out there to hear. But what is out there is pure gold and probably some of the rawest and most expressive music you may ever hear. The man who made selling your soul to the devil a must for any guitarist is at the top of the list of must hear blues musicians.
Muddy Waters - This guy is without a doubt a major player in the history of music. In the late 50's he was touring England and provided the first exposure to what would pave the way for the british invasion. In 1958, during said tour, he gave the British their first exposure to amplified modern blues. The influence is quite obvious as pretty much every group that came out of England during the invasion was emulating his sound and style. If you take any guitarist from that era and ask him who his first real influence on the guitar was, there's a real good chance they'll be talking about Muddy.

John Lee Hooker - His guitar playing was very similar to the boogie woogie style often heard on piano. He had a very unique style of playing that wasn't totally bound by a set rhythm and was accompanied by his almost spoken lyrics. Quite a number of his songs have been covered by some very influential artists and bands including Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, R.L. Burnside, the MC5 and the White Stripes, just to name a few. He has a signature sound that will forever be echoed in the blues.
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Probably the best guitarist out of all the great blues guitarists. His life was cut way too short by a helicopter crash but his legacy will live forever. Stevie's playing could be fast and aggressive or slow and laid back. His best song is considered to be a cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic Little Wing, an instrumental that quite easily could be considered better than the original. He recorded 6 studio albums, one with his idol Albert King, all of which are prime examples of modern blues.
Well these are just a few of some of the truly great blues guitarists. There are many more out there I encourage you to find and listen to. Listening to some of the greats will have a positive influence on your playing no doubt.

What wah pedal you would recommend?
I have a Les Paul Slash Signature member, and I was looking for something that sounds like what is used in the song. Fool 's Gold The Stone Roses, or Voodoo Child by Hendrix Jimi Actually, if you can give me ideas of what the owner. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr., used to help too much, especially in music. Freak Scene, thank you.
Well, I used DUNLOP crybaby (They do the Jimi Hendrix) it the best quality you can buy. At least I think it is. Of about 100-120 bucks, but if you want to get you a cheaper one. Check Pawn Shop and used.

What are the Basics of Buying Electric Guitars?
Just about every kid ever born wants to be a rock star. They see their favorite stars up there on stage playing the electric guitar to a crowd and want to do the same. Problem is, it's not easy learning to play the electric guitar.
And of course before you learn to play the guitar you need to own a guitar, or at least borrow one. When you're just starting out learning the electric guitar you don't need one like Jimmy Hendrix would play, but you still need to get your hands on an electric guitar that will be adequate for the beginner. And if that's you then there's a few things that you need to know about electric guitars that may help in understanding a little more about them.
First thing to remember about buying your first electric guitar is that you don't need to spend hundreds of thousands to do so. Be happy with a cheap electric guitar while you're learning, and maybe once you hit the big time spend up big. However a cheap electric guitar will do the job for the first few years.
You also need to know exactly what style of music you will be playing on your guitar. Different styles of music require different styles of electric guitar. You need a different guitar to play rock, for example, to the guitar you'd buy if you were playing jazz.
So spend a little time researching the types of electric guitar that should be used by different music styles.
Electric guitar types boil down to 2 basic types, solid body and hollow body. As the name suggests a solid body guitar has no hollow space inside, and is usually, though not exclusively, made of solid wood. Different types of timber can produce different sounds, so as you get better you may want to research more on the type of timber you need to produce the sound you want, but in the early stages if you're buying a cheap electric guitar don't get too carried away getting the ideal timber, you may find it more expensive than you need to be paying, and it's not essential at the start.
And there's a few unusual terms you'll need to become familiar with if you're buying an electric guitar for the first time. Here's a taste.
Pickups. The pickup is a magnet with a coil of wire wrapped around it placed right under the strings. This receives the vibrations of the strings and turns these into an electric signal for the amp to use. There are 2 types of pickup. The single coil, which produces a sound that sounds good for playing rock, blues and country. Humbuckers are a pickup with 2 coils next to each other that produces a warmer sound which is great for metal and rock in particular. Some guitars have a combination of single coils and humbuckers, and there is usually at least 2 pickups utilized.
Bridge. The bridge is where the strings connect to the body of the guitar. You can have a fixed bridge or a Vibrato bridge which allows you to move the bridge to tighten or loosen the strings. The fixed bridge is better for beginners who can graduate to a Vibrato bridge after they've mastered the basics.
Hollow body electric guitars are the second basic style of guitar. These, as the name suggests, have a hollow body although there is also a variation of this which is the semi hollow. As the player plays his guitar the hollow space helps the body resonate which produces a quite distinctive sound. These are good guitars for jazz. These hollow body guitars also utilize pickups, including single coil and humbucker.
That's really just the start when it comes to understanding electric guitars, and for the enthusiast it's a lifetime job learning all there is to know about them. And finding out exactly what it is that you need to play to produce exactly the sound you want to produce. That's part of the fun of playing the guitar, it's a constant learning process, not just about how to play but what to play as well.
However remember, the most important piece of advice. If you're a beginner don't spend up big the first time. Buy yourself a cheap electric guitar first, then learn to play that and take it from there. It's the best way to kick off your rock star career.
I am looking for new songs to learn on guitar. I am intermediate level. I play acoustic and electric. Help?
I have recently learned songs like the intro to little wing -jimi hendrix and try honesty- billy talent. Other ones I kno include Mississippi queen, all the Rage Against the Machine songs, and Classico- Tenacious D. Any help is greatly appreiciated.
There is a program called 'guitar pro' which is very good for learning songs, very good indeed. And the number of songs and artists that have been converted to guitar pro files is huge. It gives a representation of the fret board and you can step through the songs note by note, chord by chord.
You can get an evaluation copy:
http://www.guitar-pro.com/en/index.php?pg=download
And there are a few sites where you can search and download g.p. tabs...
It really is good, honest ☺
