Cold-air intake: Can you put a water shield over a heat shield?
Im planning to put a cold-air intake in my car and i dont want heat to mess with the performance and i dont want water to mess up my engine. Is it possible to put a water shield over a heat shield? or do they sell a 2-in-1 water/heat shield?

but that is the whole point of a cold air inductiojn system.
It is designed to get fresh air from an area that isn't effected by the heat under the bonnet, and also shaped to have water flow around the entrance to minimise how much goes into it. Any that does go in, is thinned out along the intake, a bit evaporates and what is left is caught in the air filter.

shielding guitar without disassembling?
I have a squier stratocaster, and it's making quite a lot of noise, especcialy when my volume on my guitar is at 5. does shielding the pickguard help? and is this possible without removing the strings?
by noise do you mean fuzz? if so you can fix it in different ways depending on the problem. if you dont want to take off the strings, just tape the strings down on the neck, and unscrew the headstock. unscrew the plastic part on the front, and see if there are any loose wires. if there are, guess at where they should go based on the other areas wires are connected to. if there arent, try your cord. unscrew the plugs on both ends and make sure everything looks right. if neither of those work, check your input and output jacks. unscrew the hexagonal nut on the place you put your cord on both your guitar and amp, and look for loose wires. loose wires are the main cause of buzz. if not, try turning down your distortion levels, or cleaning your strings? strings tend to build up alot of dirt just by playing, and weekly wipedowns with a wet sponge or chamois always helps. some even do it after every jam session.

aluminum Telecaster??? Anyone know anything about em?
A local dealer has one I'm looking to buy. It has a polished, all aluminum, chambered body and an aluminum pickguard and an after-market "Allparts" maple neck. It sounds incredible. Anyway, the dealer told me the body is one of the very few made by Fender USA in '94. It has no brand or seriel number markings on it at all. All I could find in my search is 3 different aluminum body Teles, all of which are colored to some degree or have graphics.
Does anyone know anything about the mysterious polished aluminum Tele? If not Fender who else could have made it?
