Why do some riders believe that having stickers or decals from companies makes you a poser?
I have some decals and stickers on all my boards from resorts I have ridden, snowboard companies that I am loyal to when buying their gear and personal ones that I make. I personally think I and other ppl like me are not posers. I would not put anything on my board that I was not proud of. I know that I am not trying to act like I am sponsored by these people, but that I love there product enough to wear it, use it and put their logos on MY board. How do you feel?
I ride with many different people - some sponsored - some beginners... I don't know anyone who looks at the stickers on someones board and considers them a poser. A poser is someone who talks about snowboarding, whether it is jumps, rails, grabs, or just turning, but can't actually do it. Be proud of your stickers - you are using them to give your board some of your personality.

Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland (2010) Movie Review
This movie is about 19-year-old Alice returning to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.
I thought this movie was pretty decent. Though, it wasn't as good as the original animated film but it was good enough to watch.
There were a couple good things about this movie, which were... there wasn't any singing, for one. I'm so happy I didn't have to hear Johnny Depp sing but he did, however, dance in it. Another good thing was the story because you are unsure if she's the real Alice or not, until 75% of the way through the movie. The effects Tim Burton has in this movie were great. Honestly, I don't think it could have been any better. I enjoyed how they did the make-up for the characters, as well. I would list a couple more things that I thought were good but I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone.
As for the acting, I thought all the characters played their roles very well. I didn't notice any errors but there were a few actors I didn't like, which were the ones at the beginning. As for Johnny Depp, who plays the Mad Hatter, I thought he fit the part and did the role very well. Mia Wasikowska, which played Alice, did a good job on her role as well. I just never thought Alice came from London, because in the original, I don't recall an accent. Anne Hathaway had a pretty cool role. I thought she played her role as the White Queen good, as well. She did have a few funny scenes but not much. The only thing I didn't like about her was the way she held her hands.
There really wasn't any bad scenes, in this movie, that I could recall. Though, I really wished they made the ending a lot better. It's probably the only thing I didn't like about this movie. Also, the beginning was sort of boring and could have went quicker. Everything else was fine, in my opinion. The only thing I really wished they would make is a scary version of Alice in Wonderland. Something that makes the characters a lot more creepier looking. It doesn't have to involve killing anyone but just a creepier feel to it.
If you haven't seen this movie, it's worth watching. Especially, if you enjoyed the original Alice in Wonderland. Just don't expect it to be as great, though.

Truck Lifts
Truck lift , as it is defined and known by truck enthusiasts is an automobile system that is composed of springs used to raise a vehicle. The process involves suspending the body, frame and power train of the truck's wheel.
Most motorists want their truck to be lifted because it lessens the jarring of the automobile while some just simply want to improve the look of their truck. After all, truck lift kits have become tremendously popular among people who wish to give their automobiles a unique or beefy look. Truck enthusiasts definitely want to make heads turn. They monster-size their rigs with a beefy truck lift kit for imposing style and impressive handling.
Truck lifts become necessary if you plan on taking your vehicle off-roading. By suspending your truck, you gain additional clearance from the ground, which protects the underside of your vehicle from bulging rocks, sharp inclines, and foreign objects in the road. If you have ever bottomed out, either off-roading or heading up a steep driveway, you know from that disconcerting scraping sound that hitting the ground is bad for your automobile. Accelerated automobile wheels keep a close contact with the road surface; thus making your driving safer and an enjoyable one at all times
With the perfect lift kit, you're free to tackle even the toughest trails. Each truck lift kit at Truck Lifts Direct is engineered for your vehicle and includes all the parts you need.
Suspension upgrades gain you clearance for bigger tires, control for adverse terrain, and stronger parts to handle the abuse of real-world off-roading. Unfortunately, lift kits are also complicated systems, which must be well engineered for safety and performance. With this, you need to find truck lift kits that are easy to install.. Another thing would be that you have to keep in mind when searching for the perfect truck lift kit are the ups and downs of the change in ride height.
For instance, adding a lift kit and larger than stock wheels and tires can affect the vehicle's tow hitch. You may now need a new rear bumper because of the change in ride height. Also, in some extreme cases, the trailer tongue can't even reach the hitch. With long trailers, such as a four-horse stock trailer or a boat trailer, you may be able to mate trailer and hitch, but the trailer angle from front to back could be enough to cause the trailer to scrape the rear end on the road.
With these factors to consider, all you need to do is to search online shops for the perfect lifts for your truck! Doing so would be extremely easy. These sites are just a click away!
My car's back head rests fall when I start the car. But when the car is off I can lift them and they will hold?
I have a 300e Mercedes and the back head rests fall when the car gets started. When the engine is on and I try to lift the head rests they fall again but when the car is off and I lift them up they stand. What is the cause of this and how do I solve this problem? Please help someone?
Is there a latch that you can engage after you pull them up and if not the hydraulics or teeth in the headrest are worn out. You could drill a small hole in the bar where you want them to sit and put a small c clip in the hole to hold them up.

Snowboarding at It's Best
Snowboarding by itself is a fun and safe sport which is basically a cross between skiing and skateboarding. Using a single large snowboard, enthusiasts rush down slopes through the snow. The feel and balance is quite different from regular skiing since navigation through the snow is achieved on only a single board, and unlike skateboarding, snowboarders let gravity do all the work of propulsion for them as they slide down the slopes.
Naturally, once snowboarding caught on in popularity, it was only a matter of time before the most highly skilled practitioners decided to tackle harder and harder slopes, finding ones with more dangerous terrain, or natural formations that allowed for stunts like turnpipes in skateboarding.
Thus was born extreme snowboarding. Extreme snowboarding involves extremely tough slopes set at 45 degree angles or less, making runs down these slopes extremely fast and difficult to control. Unlike gentle civilian snowboarding slopes, extreme slopes will also usually have outcroppings of rock jutting out from the snow as part of the challenge.
This is not a fact to be taken lightly, and not a sport to be taken by amateurs. Given the speeds at which an extreme snowboarder can go, even a casual splash on the slope an lead to broken limbs or a broken neck from impact with the snow alone. When you factor in the presence of actual rock formations, you can see how this sport is one that is not undertaken lightly.
Extreme snowboarder slopes actually dont have any of the usual conveniences of a civilian ski or snowboard slope. There are no trans for uphill transport, no waystations for shelter and relaxation. It is wilderness all the way. More often than not, during extreme snowboard competitions, the boarders actually ride airlifts to get to the top of the course.
Like some extreme sports, snowboarding enthusiasts have even merged their styles with that of other extreme sports. For example, some snowboarders actually pack parachute gliders on their backs These extreme sportsmen take a snowboard and do a run all the way down a slope which ends at a sheer-drop cliff, and once they fly off the cliff, trigger the chutes and hang glide all the rest of the way down the mountainside. If that isn't an adrenaline rush, I don't know what is!
Some of the more popular and challenging snowboard slopes are located in New Zealand and Alaska. In the Alaskan slopes, there are 4000 foot vertical run areas with gullies, ditches, and wind lips, as well as trees to contend with on the slope. There is also an area with natural half-pipe formations and rolls where freestyle exhibitions similar to that done for skateboarding can be performed.
The New Zealand slopes are more challenging for those who enjoy absolute speed runs. With one of the steepest and sharpest slopes around, navigating the New Zealand snowboarding slopes requires perfect balance and control to keep from spilling.
Given the risks of snowboarding, every professional competing extreme snowboarder is required to learn first aid specializing in cold weather injury treatment, as well as survival, search, and rescue techniques for winter and mountainous terrain. On their runs, they are also required to bring avalanche transceivers for emergency pickups in case of an avalanche or if they go off course and get lost.
Like most extreme sports, extreme snowboarding is most definitely not for the weak or the faint of heart. But for those who are up to the challenge, it offers one of the most exciting blood rushes around.
