Best amp for my 72 thinline fender telecaster?
what is the Best amp for my 72 thinline fender telecaster. at the moment i am using a peavey valve king 112
For how much money? For not much, the Vox AD Valvetronix range is good, for a bit more I'd fancy a Fender Blues Junior, if you've just won the lottery, a Mesa Boogie or Cornford Hurricane.

Buzzing from my electric guitar?
I am not very familiar with electrics. I've been playing acoustic for a very long time so I don't have much experience with amps. Someone gave me a really crappy Crate amp a long time ago because they didn't want it, and I am borrowing a '69 Thinline Telecaster and the guitar is gorgeous. I really want to buy it but I am just wondering about a buzzing that is constant whenever anything is turned up.
Would this be because of the bad amp/cable or do you think it's the pickup on the guitar itself?
It's a bad ground. Try a different cable first. Try the guitar in other amps. Try a different guitar in the first amp. This will help narrow down the source of the problem.

Buying a new guitar.?
Hello, I need helping picking out a new guitar! My current guitar is a fender tele thinline. I'm getting tired of the twang that comes with the guitar.
I have about $1000 in total to spend on a new guitar. I'm an intermediate player and I play a lot of rock, alternative stuff. I also play a lot of blues, metal, and funk.
I'm not to picky when it comes to brands but I was wondering what kind I should get. I really liked this epiphone slash les paul guitar but I haven't tried out many guitars.
What's the best buy for the money? I'm open to any suggestions!!! thank you!!!
i might be willing to add another 200 dollars, so probably 1200 in total to spend on a new guitar!
For what it's worth, I got an American Deluxe Strat for around that much. I like it, and it may be up your alley, but of course that all depends on what kind of sound you like within the genres you mentioned.
I don't get to play around with other guitars often, but I'd check at a guitar store, there are used guitars which may be slightly cheaper than new guitars which fit your budget. You may like what you find, and you might as well give it a shot since you'll probably be in a store anyway.
