What special effects can be done with wall paint in a livingroom?
I have always had my walls wallpapered so just a painted wall sounds boring and I would like to know what can perk it up or do I need to go back to wallpaper books?

Or if you are really into prints you can stencil, that is much easier to paint over when you're tired of it as opposed to the removal of wall paper. Check out Home Depot, they're a good resource for any of these projects. Happy decorating!

How can i clean my vintage stuffed animals without hurting them?
I've got lots of Rainbow Brite dolls and other 80's dolls and stuffed animals I played with as a little girl. I usually put them on shelves, hang them in a toy hammock, or pile them into a wicker backet in my room. Alot of them are white though and I noticed they are becoming dingy and dusty. They are over 20 years old so I can't put them in a washer or a dryer.
Is there anyway I can clean them by hand without hurting them? I want them to look bright white again. I thought about putting them in plastic bags in the closet but I love to look at them. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Try this for size, fill a tub with some warm water and get a cake of laundry soap - the type that is gentle like sunlight and a small soft bristled brush and gently scrub any features that need special attention. Rinse under a little running water and put them in a shady but airy spot to dry naturally. If the clothes are removable take them off first and give them a wash separately and iron them when dry if needed, comb your dolls hair and they should look as good as new

This is a common misconception, certain types of music do not require certain strings.
Its tuning, the lower you tune, the heavier your strings should be.
Those 10's should be very good for rock, because rock is usually standard, but again, it all depends on your tuning.

Can a generic 30W guitar amp take a stereo input lead?
Just bought a cheap generic 30W amp for my Theremin. I'm at a store where they're selling stereo guitar leads cheaper than mono ones. Will the stereo lead work with this kind of amp?
Generally yes, sometimes it cannot read one of the channels, but since you are coming from a mono output anyway it should not matter.

which instrument goes well with bass guitar and percussion?
i have to do a 16 bar melody for an assessment and im stuck finding a solo instrument. i also have to use a bass guitar and any percussion instrument.. any idea with what i can use?
I take it this is for a music theory assignment? Odd that you "have" to use bass guitar, i guess your professor is trying to make some sort of point. I'd pick any wind instrument, trumpet is good. And I'd use bass guitar, drum set and guitar, if you're professor will let you use standard "jazz comp" notation for the guitar and drum set parts.
Now, if you're not allowed to add a rhythm instrument, I'd use piano with melody in the right hand and accompaniment in the left. Although, a bluesy thing with just bass, snare and trumpet would work.
Also, ask a percussion major about notation for any odd percussion instruments you might write for, different accents can mean different things.
