That's tough for me... Ibanez and Gibson are top of the line guitar brands (in my opinion). I have never heard anyone complain about a Gibson guitar, but that Ibanez is a beauty. I would go with the Ibanez, so many people play SG's, the Ibanez is unique in style and form.

I traded my dad's Ibanez Jem for a rare strat and now he's really mad..?
It was a 555 Jem, and the guy told me the Stratocaster was a 50's original, the only markings apart from stratocaster are Squire on the headstock, he said it was worth double the cost of a new Jem.
What can I tell my dad? He hit the roof but I got him a good deal!

Maybe the guitar had sentimental value to your dad. Or maybe the guy was feeding you a line so he could rip you off. Why would you trade something that wasn't yours? Shouldn't you have told your dad about it & let him make the decision?

Horse Birthday Party Ideas To Help You Create The "Mane" Event!
Stop horsin' around and start creating a memorable horse birthday party for your little wranglers that they are sure to enjoy. Check out our ideas for invitations, decorations, and party games to help make your equestrian celebration shine!
INVITATIONS
Using a die-cut horse or horseshoe as a pattern, cut these out of tan cardstock to form your invitation. Using a gel pen, write out your party details in calligraphy. On one side write, "Gallop! Don't Trot on Over for a Rootin' Tootin' Wild Horse Birthday Party! On the reverse side, write all of the following party details:
Big, Bad Birthday Roundup On: (date and time of party)
Meet Us At The O.K. Coral Located At: (address of party)
R.S.V.P. To The Stable Boy/Girl: (parent's name & phone #)
HORSE BIRTHDAY PARTY DECORATIONS
Using a little imagination, creativity, and lots of horse-themed decorations, ya'll be able to rope in your little fillies and colts in no time. We reckon some of the following decorations will strike your fancy:
As guests arrive, send them over to the branding station where they will be identified as V.I.P.G.'s (Very Important Party Goers) with a special "branding" iron. Use rubber stamps or tattoos.
Decorate ceilings with 2 different colored twisted streamers and clusters of balloons with curling ribbons.
Use horseshoes as a balloon weight to display floor balloon bouquets throughout room.
Add a horsey table runner down the center of your party table. Either make one horse-printed fabric or dismantle a horse calendar and affix the photos to a piece of fabric and lay it down the center of the table.
Cover your party tables with burlap and sprinkle strands of hay on top, like you would confetti, and tie off the corners using licorice laces.
Create a Bryer horse display in the center of your table using a few horses, along with some mini hay bales, fencing, and horse tack. Attach a bouquet of balloons in the center.
If you have access to horse tack, then opt for making an extra-special photo opt area by displaying hay bales, a saddle, and a western mural (made from western posters) on a wall or fence and take photos of each of your little cowpokes.
HORSE BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES & ACTIVITIES
Hold your horses! We reckon it's time for some horse play!
Horseshoes - For older kids use real horseshoes and for younger kids use plastic or rubber horseshoes or make horseshoe rings from rope.
Stack Them Cubes! - Each wrangler has a pile of sugar cubes. When you say "Giddy-up" wranglers race to build the tallest stack of sugar cubes in a timed period.
Horse Race - Create a life-size "game board" in your yard using carpet squares. Lay them out in a Candyland Game fashion. Add a few obstacles like saw horses, galvanized buckets, bales of hay, etc. then have all your horsies (guests) compete to the finish line. Write numbers 0-3 on index cards, along with a command like gallop, trot, run, canter, whinny, neigh. As the cards are drawn, they move forward the number of spaces on the card, while performing command. For example, move forward 2 spaces while trotting.

I've never owned one of his CDs before but I love listening to his music. I was thinking about buying his "Greatist Hits"-type album, because he's released so many. But I don't really like owning "Best Ofs"... so which album?

How to Get Guitar Burning Speed
I once felt that no matter what I did, no matter how much I practiced and no matter how much I fought, I would never be able to play at the speeds of Guitar Gods such as Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai and all the rest. I had tried multiple guitar speed techniques but nothing worked. This made me absolutely miserable as this was my ultimate goal on the guitar! I soon found out that I was not alone, I made a few posts on Guitar forums and found hundreds, and eventually thousands of like minded Guitarists stuck in a rut they could not get out of. This is what fueled me.
I finally decided, no matter what, nothing was going to stop me, I was going to get Guitar Burning Speed. The first thing I now thought of was, how the hell am I going to do that? I started looking everywhere I possibly could to find information on how to develop muscles in ways that would allow me to move faster, have more dexterity and ultimately more control over my fingers so they would go exactly where I wanted them to. My search took many weeks, I actually decided to give up, twice! But I struggled on and after talking to a whole lot of Guitar players, Doctors, Physicians and Athlete I finally found what I was looking for.
I went home and started applying the exercises I was taught by these people, the thing is, I found out that I was creating a huge short cut in reaching Guitar Burning Speed. I made a schedule that took only 20 minutes that I was to do everyday. I set up a table on my computer to document my results and got started on that very day. I noticed after I did the exercises my hand actually felt like it had been working very hard, the next day the exercises were so much easier it actually scared me. I was told that I would achieve explosive muscle strength and speed very fast but I had no idea it could happen this fast.
Long story short, in 2 weeks I increased my Guitar playing speed by 400%. Needless to say I was amazed. All I wanted to do was to share what I had found with the world. I realized that most Guitarists would not believe me, and not even try it, but I didn't care because I am living proof that it works! These unique guitar speed exercises were what I had been looking for, for years.
The exact method I used to gain Guitar Burning Speed is much to big to fit into this article, but to get you started on your journey, pick up your guitar now and start playing. Go download a metronome (search on google, there are plenty of free ones online) and start playing everything you know to it, keeping your timing perfect. Then slowly increase the BPM (Beat Per Minute) until you are playing at the speed you always wanted.
I started and ended my journey at two very different levels of playing Guitar, one was without Guitar Burning Speed, and one was with. The question is, what would you prefer?
