Dance preparation for Zaneeta in the Music Man?
I'm going to be trying out for Zaneeta in the Music Man Jr. and I was wondering how much dance I'm going to need to practice, as in classes, before the auditions that are in a month or so, and what type of dance I should practice.
That would greatly depend on the director and how much dance and what type of dance he/she wants to use.
I performed in the Music Man several years ago and most of the dancing I did was a variant of dances that were popular at different times in history (charelston, waltz, etc.)
Unless we're talking a professional company, I don't think you need to worry to much as long as you can move and learn quickly. Maybe try a class that teaches multiple types of dance?
I think the main key to Zaneeta is the annoying laugh.

Tele Humbuckers installed on a second. single coil pickups?
I own a classic. Squier telecaster thinline Vibe that I want to add a sensor. Lace humbuckers on the bridge, but I only have a single coil on the bridge. How difficult it is to add a humbucker? what is the best method book for learning speed guitar?
what's the best book out there for improving my speed to the level of metal lead guitarists?
(i know i said books, since i learn from them the best, but if you can suggest me videos also that's great!)
The best advice to learning to play 'fast' summed up in a few words:
Play slow, clean, and accurate first -- you can speed up *slowly*.
Like some arts that involve using specific movements (such as marital arts) you should always have your technique mastered, and you must stay dedicated, and after a while you will notice progress.
If you want to do sweep picking or something I'd advise running through some scale patterns - box shapes?
Edit: If you want videos, I suppose the videos of John Petrucci of Dream Theater would be quite good. He does exercises and stuff. I have never bought the DVD myself. It just seems to be everywhere.
